FONTWERK
I was excited to work with the brilliant designer Anja Knust for the type foundry Fontwerk on this project, Fontwerk turns three. On this project, I was brought on board as an animator and had the opportunity to animate the brand's motion and Anja's beautiful designs.

The brief was to create a few short-form animation videos celebrating their three-year anniversary. Fontwerk is a Berlin-based digital type foundry, creating fonts and working in modern type design.
These 5 animations celebrate their company's milestones, as well as send out a thank you to their designers around the globe, whilst also not taking themselves too seriously ;) This motion is used in GIF format for their monthly newsletter, as well as video for for their socials.

It was especially fun developing Fontwerk's motion, as well as collaborating with the brilliant designer Anja Knust on this project. I'd like to thank Ivo Gabrowitsch and the rest of the Fontwerk Team.

Process
After a phase of experimentation with various movements, I have decided to minimize the motion that utilizes the brand's unique displaced logo design, resulting in three distinctive movements.
